He encourages people to achieve whole-body wellness, effortless weight management and freedom from stress, which he believes are the keys to living and ageing well.

r. Murad himself has been awarded many recognitions including “The Aesthetic Visionary Award for Lifetime Achievement” from The Aesthetic Show -(an award that is now called the “Howard Murad, M.D. Aesthetic Visionary Award”). He has also been named the “Best Forward- Thinking Doctor” by Vogue magazine, a “Beauty Genius” by Elle magazine and an “Industry Visionary” by the International SPA Association. Additionally, he discovered – and continuously conducts research on – the impact of Cultural Stress®, a constant and pervasive form of stress caused by modern day living which has been scientifically shown to have a negative impact on cellular health.

Dr. Murad has also written several books, empowering people with the knowledge needed to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle and is the author of several best-sellers on ageing, health and skincare.

Passion For Skincare, Science and Healthy Living

Dr. Murad has also developed a keen interest in the art world. He has conducted research on the connection between the benefits of artistic expression and youth building, which was inspired by his wife suggesting he start painting when he was recovering after undergoing surgery to repair a detached retina. He was required to keep his head down with his chin to his chest for a month while the retina healed, so painting helped him pass the time and develop a genuine passion for art. He has gone on to become quite an accomplished artist, having had hundreds of works exhibited and published. He has also used art therapy to benefit patients, as a way to reintroduce freedom of expression and playfulness back into their lives.
