Mindfully Formulated

Origins products are mindfully formulated with the highest-quality plant, earth and sea-based ingredients combined with non-toxic-to-skin alternatives and advanced science.

Origins products are formulated without parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, formaldehyde, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin, diathanolamine (DEA), polyethylene beads and animal ingredients, except cruelty free honey & beeswax.

We ensure our products are safe for your skin. Each of our ingredients and finished products are rigorously evaluated for safety, and we constantly study the latest science to only use ingredients that meet our own exceedingly high quality standards, and yours.

Just as we care for the well-being of your skin, one of our core values is caring for the well-being of our planet. We support reforestation projects around the world and have planted over 820,000 trees to-date through our program in partnership with Global ReLeaf—because trees keep our air and water clean, restore areas damaged by wildfires and feed and house nature’s creatures.

We Are Conscious About Our Manufacturing Practices

We strive to limit our negative impact on the environment and to advance our goal to have a net zero carbon emission by 2020. We use wind energy credits to offset 100% of the electricity used in the manufacturing of our products at our primary facilities.

Our Packaging Is Minimal By Design

We make every effort to avoid unnecessary waste in order to reduce our impact on the planet. Our product cartons are made of cardboard certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). With the exception of kits and promotional items, all product cartons contain 50% post-consumer recycled content. Our reusable cosmetic bags and totes are made with recycled cotton.
